CLASS 4 – FJDE 31st Jan/3rd Feb. EAMO Friday 31st January – Verbs Past, Present Future & Universal tenses.

Thank you all for joining the classes. I really appreciate it! As I mentioned to you all, I was not trained as a linguist or an English Teacher so the “tense” concept and its rules (on paper) are new to me. As a native English speaker, I as not taught to speak English using tenses (i.e. at the age of 3 years old my mother did not get the blackboard out and teach me English via tenses). I learnt English, and its rules, naturally through communication and what is called “the inductive” method.

So, thank you for your patience with me as I also learn the rules I have been using all my life 😁.

Below I include the activities I included in class and some whiteboard shots from our FJDE class. For teh FJDE class, I do not expect you to remember everything we go through. Here I try to introduce concepts which will help you understand teh structure of English. I hope you too will learn using the “inductive method” as I did 🤨.
